Supported file types

DNA Baser supports all popular DNA file formats: ABI, SCF, SEQ, TXT, FASTA, multiFasta, GBK, multiGbk. For details please see this page.

The program requires only few MB or RAM when assembling small contigs. However, more RAM is needed for larger contigs. Note: the program is not suitable for large meta-genomics projects.
