The main and most important feature of DNA Baser Sequence Assembler is that it FULLY automates the DNA sequence assembly process.
Just point the progra to the folder where your samples are and the program will do ABSOLUTELLY all steps for you. This is why you will see the word 'automatic' a lot in this page.
Features by date.
Some of the core features are
Automatic cleaning (trimming) of the bad ends of chromatograms
Automatic recognition sequence (vectors, primers) cleaning
Automatic correction of the ambiguous bases in contig. You will never have to edit your contigs!
Automatically save the contig, log and project data to disk.
Automatic primer detection and vector removal.
Automatic batch assembly. Thousand of contigs can be assembled at once
Assemble to reference
Synchronized display between chromatograms and contig, which makes the correction of ambiguous bases much faster and easier.
A rapid navigation between ambiguities/mismatches. Jump to the next mismatch with just one click
Integrated base caller
Chromatogram viewer and editor (ABI and SCF).
Project map
Top accuracy - DNA Sequence Assembler is not using a "partial solution" algorithm like other programs.
Save project (input sequences, contig, user edits, etc) to disk for later inspection/editing. You can later add additional samples to your contig.
Remember base edits made by user!
Embedded biology tools
Batch sequence processing (batch ends trimming, vector removal, metadata integration, FASTA conversion...)
Batch metadata integration tool (RNA Baser only)
Clone library dereplicator
Everything to multi-FASTA converter
Everything to FASTA converter
State of art GenBank to FASTA converter
Reverse complement
One click conversion between several file formats
