Upgrading

Available upgrades

• You can upgrade your current license to a more suitable one.
• You can upgrade your DNA Baser v2 license to a v3 license.
• You can downgrade to a different license

Upgrading from Single User to Network

Have you already purchased one or more single user Academic or Business licenses? For $149 (per license) you can upgrade your existent single license (Business, Academic) to Network. 'Rent' license cannot be upgraded.

Upgrading to Site license

You can upgrade to Site license if you have already purchased 2 or more DNA Baser licenses. The price of the upgrade is:

Upgrade = Site price - (DNA Baser price * No of licenses you already have)

Upgrading from Rent to Single user/Network

You can upgrade to from 'Rent' license to a license that suit your current needs better. The amount that you have already paid will be deducted from the price of the license you upgrade to. You need to upgrade within one year since you purchased the Rent license otherwise only half of the already paid amount will be deducted.

A $30 fee applies (costs for manually upgrading the license and resending the key). Please contact us for details.

Upgrade from v2 to v3

You can upgrade from DNA Baser v2 to DNA Baser v3. For details please see the Upgrade Path.

Downgrading

You can also downgrade your Network license to single user license. The downgrade is free of charge.
