DNA Baser Assembler
What is a Network license
Network Licensing allows you to install DNA Baser Assembler on an unlimited number of computers, but limits the number of concurrent users to the number of licenses you purchased. For example if you have 100 computers in your department/building and you have purchased 3 licenses, then you can install DNA Baser in all your computers but only three users can use DNA Baser at the same time.
Comparison with Single User license
The advantage of Network license is that the users do not have to physically walk to the computer(s) where DNA Baser is installed. Even your guests or mobile users (laptop users) will have access full access to DNA Baser as long as they can connect to your network.
Comparison with Network license
With a Site license, you can install and run DNA Baser on an infinite number of computers. With a Network license you can install DNA Baser on an infinite number of computers, but only a limited number of users will be able to use DNA Baser at the same time.
How does it work?
The DNA Baser server uses the local-area network (LAN) to confirm that no more than the specified number of copies are running at the same time.
