Descriptions:
Project name input box:
Choose a name for your current project. When DNA Baser will save the contig on the hard drive, it will use this name for the saved file. The contig will be saved as SEQ or FASTA as you have chosen in the Settings window.
DNA Baser will automatically choose a name for your current project based on the name of the current folder. You can instruct DNA Baser to automatically insert the prefix 'Baser Project' in the front of the name and the suffix 'from xxx' (where xxx if the file type of the input file set) at the end of the name.
The prefix will help you to easily identify the new generated contig file among other files and the suffix will tell you if the contig was made from SCF or ABI files (if you have both files in a folder).
For example, if you have 2 ABI files and 2 SCF files in a folder called "E.Coli" than the project name will be "Baser Project - Contig E.Coli (from ABI)" if you assembled the ABI files and "Baser Project - Contig E.Coli (from SCF)" if you assembled the SCF files.
