One of the new features is "Save/load project". This allows you to save the entire project to disk and load it later. All edits the user made will be restored exactly as left when the user closed the program. Another important feature is "Add/Remove samples to/from project".

What's new in version 3.0?
New features (major):
- Save the entire project to disk (samples, contig, user editing and corrections, etc). It can be done manually and/or automatically.
- Remember the edits that the user made in contig/input samples when the contig is recalculated.
- Delete samples from project.
- Add samples to project.
- MRU (Most Recent Used Files and Folders) - Quickly re-open a sample file/project that was used recently.
New features:
- "Rainbow" colors for assembly grid background - Helps you to quickly stop ambiguities, mismatches, errors
- Clicking on sample's name (first column in Assembly grid) makes the cursor to jump at the beginning of that sample
- Two new menus were added in Contig Assembly window ('Sample' menu and 'Project' menu)
- Automatically associate DNA Baser with project files.
- Automatically start DNA Baser when a project file is double clicked in Windows Explorer
Improvements:
- 'Sequence recognition' window was improved
- Move the "Automatically switch to log" checkbox under the log.
- Some menu re-arrangement
- Speed improvement
- Many other graphic user interface improvements (such as colors in grid and contig map, layout rearrangement, etc)
Fixed:
- The SCF samples with 1 byte precision info (low precision) are now displayed incorrectly.
- Some settings related to colors used are now stored/remembered after restarting the application.
What is new in v3.0.11?
- Batch by name pattern based on separator (thanks to Stephan)
- Tutorial window (with animated logo and sound on new announcement)
- When the program starts for the first time it starts in tutorial mode
- Several new menus were added in ‘View’ main menu/
- Added icons for all tabs in Project Manager (16x16 and also 32x32 pixels)
- Added top logo in Project manage
- The level of trust for current contig is now reported in Log
- Added "Save contig as RC" menu
- Add “Save contig” button in Assembly window
- Add “Mark as trusted/untrusted” button in Assembly window
- The caption of Assembly window shows the selection size (how many bases were selected by user)
- Totally rewritten selection tool. The selection follows the cursor as it jumps between rows.
What is new in v3.0.12
This is a quick release to fix the "Failed to find CallBuyNowURL in DLL!" error introduced in v3.0.11.
What was improved in v3.0.11?
- GUI: Contig bases that will not be saved to disk (because vector removal) are stroked out
- GUI: The layout of the Assembly window was improved. One of the improvements is the search box which is now bigger and detached
- GUI: Less flicker during program start up
- GUI: More descriptive text for main buttons
- GUI: The tool tips pop-up faster now
- GUI: Better log for Batch Sample Processing
- GUI: Ambiguities are shown in a different shade of red (different than low QV bases)
- Many bugs fixed

System requirements
DNA Baser Sequence Assembler can run on any version of Windows from Windows 98 to Windows 7 and also on Mac via Parallels or Bootcamp. It does not install additional libraries, updates,
DLL, Java or registry keys into your system. The user does not require administrator privileges in order to install the software.
Full list of molecular biology tools
DNA Baser (as all other tools listed here) is a portable application. This means that you can run it without any installation.
